Industrial Battery Chargers

FCBC BATTERY CHARGER OPERATION

  • The float cum boost Charger is equipped with well-versed modern technology-based SMPS rectifier modules, which will charge both the battery & supply power to the load.
  • The Float Cum Boost Charger will charge the battery under float voltage during normal operation and supply the power to load. If the AC input power supply is interrupted, the battery will take over the load supply and meet the requirement. If power resumes back, the charger will automatically be changed to boost mode depending upon the current drawn by the battery and charge the battery at boost voltage, which is greater than float voltage for quick charging.
  • The load voltage will be maintained within the specified limits through DVR (Diode Voltage regulator). All these have been configured for the safe operating of load devices preventing them from being subjected to the higher voltage.
  • Auto/Manual mode is available with the charger controller.
  • Auto mode operation is preset by default and manual operation requires human intervention.
  • The Charger have all protection equipment like MCCBs, MCBs, Relays and Contactors for Isolation and switching purpose. A surge protection device is been given for preventing any surge voltages due to switching or lightning in the power plant/Substations.
  • The Charger also has RS 485 port with Modbus protocol for SCADA monitoring purposes, i.e., for communication & plant automation/substation automation.

FC & FCBC BATTERY CHARGER OPERATION

FC & FCBC BATTERY CHARGER OPERATION

  • The Float Charger & Float cum boost Charger is equipped with well-versed modern technology-based SMPS rectifier modules, which will charge both the battery & supply power to the load.
  • The Float Charger (FC) will supply the load and charge the battery under float condition to maintain 100% capacity as the battery may self-discharge.
  • The Float Cum Boost Charger (FCBC) will also operate as a float charger during normal operation along with the Float Charger (FC).
  • If the AC input power supply is interrupted, the battery will take over the load supply and meet the requirement. If power resumes back, the float cum boost charger will automatically be changed to boost mode depending upon the current drawn by the battery and charge the battery at boost voltage, which is greater than float voltage for quick charging.

DUAL FCBC BATTERY CHARGER OPERATION

DUAL FCBC BATTERY CHARGER OPERATION
  • Dual Float cum boost Charger is equipped with well-versed modern technology-based SMPS rectifier modules, which will charge both the battery & supply power to the load.
  • Dual FCBC consists of two no’s of Float cum boost chargers in which only one will operate at a time i.e., the other will be a standby charger.
  • Standby charger will come into operation if the main charger fails or is manually turned off for any maintenance/service purpose.
